The 2025 Walglas New Products Glitter Plastic is a cast acrylic sheet made from 100% virgin Mitsubishi PMMA, with glitter particles incorporated directly into the acrylic during casting rather than applied to the surface afterward. Particle sizes range approximately from 0.5–3 mm, with different glitter colors, shapes and densities available for different design requirements.
Sheets are produced in 1.5–10 mm thicknesses, with 1220 × 2440 mm as the standard sheet size. Custom sizes and colors are available for project-specific requirements. Depending on the selected combination of acrylic background and glitter, the sheet can be supplied in transparent, translucent or fully opaque configurations, covering both light-transmitting panels and solid decorative surfaces.
Because the glitter is integrated within the acrylic rather than forming a separate surface layer, the material can be processed into finished components by cutting, curved hot bending and hollow carving.
